The world has appreciated the battle he fought for child right for years . The term ' Child Labour ' is actually the work that deprives children of their childhood . It destroy their potentiality and their dignity . In short , it is the kind of work that is mentally , physically , socially or morally danger ous and harmful to children . Child labour is the practice of having children engaged in economic activity , on part or full time basis . The constitution of India (Article 24) prohibits child labour below the age of 14 years in any factory or  mine or castle or engaged in any other hazardous development . The patriarchal society we live in has turned women as the weaker section of the society . Girls are often seen as a liability which is not true . Female infanticide is a problem that has plagued our country for decades . Education is an essential part of life whether it's a boy or a girl . There are many reason for which girls are still pulled out of school in the advanced countries . Family responsibility is one of the reason , girls provide free labour at home . Girls are unable to attend schools due to inadequate facilities and lack of female teacher . It is believed that higher education in girls can invite higher dowry when it comes to marriage .
